Dont Subscribe
After downloading and paying for 1 years digital subscription, I was only able to successfully download 5 issues before it randomly stopped recognizing my subscription. I contacted Hearst digital apps support via email. They responded with a cursory "check to see if your settings and see if your subscription is active"... I responded back, but was cast off into the "ignore" pile. I am not upset about the money... its the principle. As a customer with a valid issue, I think it should be addressed even if there is no immediate resolution. I would have preferred a "Sorry, I dont know how we can resolve this at the moment. But we will look into it" rather than being ignored. Thats so unprofessional.
When the application was working, I enjoyed the magazine and have been a subscriber to the print copy for years. I loved the concept of having my magazines with me without the bulk! But given my recent problems and the companys lack of support, I have decided to unsubscribe from all Hearst Publications. Even though my other magazines have been working fine up till now, I cant be sure that they will continue to work and be supported. There are many other companies that offer a similar content... I guess its time for me to start choosing them!
